Guadalajara, day 3

This morning we joined a free walking tour of Guadalajara's historic centre.

As in many old cities around the world, horse drawn carriage rides are available, but this is the first time we have seen horseless carriages. They appear to be electric and have the benefit of zero "emissions"!

Trying a local specialty. Tejuíno is a sweet refreshing drink made from slightly fermented corn, lime juice, a pinch of salt and lime sorbet.

More weird art

Mercado Libertad ... seems like everything can be purchased here.

Cool art deco building

Miguel Hidalgo was a leader of the Mexican War of Independence.

Cool buildings

Churros La Bombilla

Didn't take long for these to disappear!

Street food at night

El Grillo
