Stepantsminda, Georgia

The town of Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi

The centre of town, where the passenger vans and taxis congregate

In every smaller town, the cows always seem to be coming and going

Small church right in town

Transit bus turned into a cafe

The view out our window at the guesthouse

Typical side street - the red pipes are the natural gas pipes. In many towns these are run above ground.

We had lunch on the deck of this hotel with a tremendous view

View from the edge of town, with Mount Kazbeg in the distance

Mountains rising at the edge of town
